The Taylor Wilson Thompson Family Foundation awards small grants to schools in order to enhance the social literacy and leadership skills of its students.

ABOUT – BPBI

The winners of the competition are judged on their ability to examine a ``big problem`` affecting many of their peers around the country and their proposed ``Big Idea`` solution.

In her book, Leadership It’s Child’s Play: Ten Steps to Children’s Leadership Development, Taylor discusses the school event that changed her from a follower to a leader.

Tomorrow Leaders

TOMORROW LEADERS
Tomorrow’s leaders will be different from today's leaders. They will be more culturally sophisticated, ethnically diverse, globally oriented, with a view toward international peace and sustainability. They will be transformative in their vision and approach to facing the challenges of the twenty-first century. Already, they understand the need to create new paradigms for addressing many of the issues of conflict that grieve today's national and international communities.</p> <p>How does one develop this kind of leadership talent among young people?
